Pokémon Mega Inferno X from the Japanese MEGA series
Pokémon Mega Inferno X in Japanese is an expansion in the MEGA series with the set code M2. The set was released in Japan on September 26, 2025, continuing the return of Mega Evolution Pokémon ex. Each Booster contains five randomly assorted cards. For fans of Japanese Pokémon cards in particular, Mega Inferno X combines a distinctive set theme with popular Pokémon and modern gameplay mechanics.
Mega Charizard X ex takes center stage in Inferno X
The expansion's main Pokémon is Mega Charizard X ex. With its signature blue flames, the black Mega-Entwicklung defines the look of Mega Inferno X and is one of the set's most striking designs. Its Inferno X attack uses Fire Energy to build up high damage. This makes the Japanese version of Pokémon Mega Inferno X especially appealing to Charizard fans and Collectors of modern Mega Pokémon.

In addition to Mega Charizard X ex, the expansion includes other Mega Evolution Pokémon ex, such as Mega Sharpedo ex and Mega Heracross ex. It also features Pokémon ex like Mismagius ex and Oricorio ex, which bring different strategies and themes to the set. This means Mega Inferno X offers much more than just Charizard and is also great for Collectors looking to build a diverse M2 collection.
Mega Inferno X Booster Display in Japanese
The Pokémon Mega Inferno X 30er Booster Display – Japanese contains 30 Japanese Booster packs with five cards each. This lets you open a total of 150 randomly assorted cards from the expansion. The Booster Display is ideal for larger openings, building your own set collection, or keeping sealed as part of a Japanese Sealed collection.
Booster Display without shrink wrap for planned Booster openings
The Pokémon Mega Inferno X Booster Display without shrink wrap – Japanese offers another option with 30 originally sealed Booster packs. Unlike the regular version, the outer display box does not have additional shrink wrap. The product is therefore particularly suitable for buyers who intend to open the included Booster anyway and place less value on a fully wrapped display box.
Mega Inferno X Case for particularly large openings
The Pokémon Mega Inferno X Case – Japanese is aimed at Collectors and fans who want to explore the set on a particularly large scale. A Sealed Case contains twelve Displays with 30 boosters each, for a total of 360 Booster packs. In addition to large-scale opening projects, the originally sealed Sealed Case is also suitable for Collectors who want to add larger Japanese Sealed products to their collection.
Japanese Mega-Entwicklung for Charizard fans
Pokémon Mega Inferno X in Japanese combines the popular Mega-Entwicklung with a strong focus on Mega Charizard X ex. The set is rounded out by various Pokémon ex cards, Trainer cards, and special illustrations. This makes the expansion appealing to both fans of the Pokémon Trading Card Game and Collectors looking specifically for Japanese cards, Mega Pokémon, or new Charizard artwork.
Open Mega Inferno X or collect it sealed?
Whether you open Mega Inferno X right away or keep it unopened depends on your collecting goals. A complete Booster Display offers plenty of packs for an extended opening session, while a Sealed Case is considerably larger and better suited to extensive projects. Sealed collectors can focus on the packaging Condition and choose between regularly shrink-wrapped Displays, versions without shrink wrap, and complete Cases. Specific cards are not guaranteed due to the random contents of booster packs.
